If this doesn’t sum it up.
The former worst President ever, corrected the man who now owns that title. Obama said that Egypt was neither our ally or our enemy. Carter took exception to that and declared to a group of Drake University students, “Egypt is an ally to the US, we know Egypt well.”
Perhaps he should have said, We knew Egypt well.
The media wants you to believe the Benghazi attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens was due to some YouTube movie. Not so much.
The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.
American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.
The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the “safe house” in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed “safe”.
Further in the story….
Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated it was not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video, called Innocence of Muslims. Patrick Kennedy, Under-Secretary at the State Department, said he was convinced the assault was planned due to its extensive nature and the proliferation of weapons.
There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa’ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks.
It is rather eerie how the Obama presidency is practically morphing into Jimmy Carter’s in so many ways. The only question that remains is will the American public rectify the situation as they did in 1980?
Once the Egyptians take some hostages at the embassy, the circle of our president’s Jimmy Carter loserhood will be complete…#tcot

H/T: Legal Insurrection
Driving down the road, I was forced to pull off and snap this picture:
This is in the so called “battleground” state of North Carolina. I don’t particularly think it can be considered such this go around, even though the media is doing everything they can to make it seem that way.
Man, somebody really took their time defacing this Obama/Biden campaign sign.
UPDATE: Linked at The Other McCain, Live at Five. Thanks!!
So excited for tomorrow! Fashion’s Night Out and then the Official DNC after party at Club Hush in Charlotte, NC! Gonna be a fun night #spon

This is hilarious.
Adjective: Tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something.
Many of you may be wondering why I haven’t posted anything in a while. Then again, odds are you haven’t given it a second thought. Don’t get me wrong, I get my fair share of traffic, and in doing so, my fair share of return visitors. So I know without a doubt some have checked back in and have seen the vision of loveliness in red bikini bottoms staring back at them for sometime now. (See post below for details)
But what I mean is, that as far as the typical reader of conservative, political blogs go….nobody cares. Before you hit the back button to go back to Google or wherever it is you came from because you think this is some sort of pity party I’m throwing myself because I haven’t yet attained the stature of importance in the blogosphere that I fooled myself into thinking I would, I assure you, it’s not that.
I simply find myself sick to death of politics. Well, that’s not entirely true. I find myself sick to death of the crap spewed on a daily basis by individuals like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, The mainstream media in toto, stupid people who still don’t get it (and likely never will), celebrities who no longer reside in the real world, the democratic party, Occupy Wall Street and their ilk, leftists, Marxists, Socialists, Communists, Labor Unions, groups who continue to allow themselves to be pimped out by politicians, and so on and so forth to the nth degree.
I’m not sick of our system. Our system is still the best ever devised for self-government. There will never be a better one. No use to even try.
What I am sick of is corrupt people who have infiltrated the system by way of lies and false promises and have therefore corrupted the system that is otherwise the best ever created. Don’t blame the system, blame those in the system. Purging the system of the virus that is corrupt individuals is a task that may never be fully realized. But we can try. Remember, the system goes farther than the Presidency, House, and Senate. It goes to each State, local municipality, town, city, you name it. And if the system reaches that far, so does corruption. So do lies.
It’s easy for me to know, that I know, that I know Barack Obama is a scurge on this country. His mindset, his philosophy, his desire to see America transformed, his secret longing to bring America to it’s knees, his failed view of the proper relationship between a country’s government and it’s people. It’s easy for me to know without a shadow of a doubt that these things are all bad for America in ways that can’t really even be described. Ways in which the average rube will never understand because they’re too busy wondering if Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will get married. Those folks will look up one day and it will all be gone. The only problem is they won’t realize it because they never understood what it was to begin with. It’s those of us who get it and understand it, that will truly lament it’s demise because we knew how good it once was.
All of this is not to say that I think Mitt Romney can’t beat Barack Obama. I really believe he’s got a good shot. Unfortunately, so does Obama. In a sane world, Barack Obama would have pulled a Lyndon Johnson. But we don’t live in a sane world, now do we? Despite the damage inflicted by him and the mindset shared by millions of others, he could still win a second term. A prospect that fills me with rage. A prospect that fills me with despair.
I honestly can’t take the day to day soundbites and media massaging of every single event that happens anymore. When you know the truth, and you see blatant lies being told to insure an outcome opposite of that which reality would insure, it’s enough to drive you mad. I still honestly believe that if people, all people, were told the truth, the right outcome would happen 99% of the time. Unfortunately there are still way too many who don’t seek the truth for themselves. They are satisfied to be spoon fed some liberal journalists version of reality and accept it as the truth. Sad. This type of media consumption will kill our country. Maybe not this fall, but eventually.
So in closing, I know who I’m voting for. I know the truth. I know when I’m being lied to. And with the myriad number of political opinions out there on the web you won’t miss mine. That’s not to say that I’m closing shop. No, you’ll still see some pictures from time to time. You’ll still see a video or two. Maybe even some music thrown in. As for the political arena? Screw it. I’m over it. I leave it in the hands of the Almighty. I’ll do what I can at the voting booth and pray it works out.
As for the idiots who will still vote for Obama? Well, if he wins, we get what we deserve.
