Google is expanding its retail presence with the opening of its fourth hardware store located on Newbury Street in Boston. The store, set to open on Friday, will offer a variety of Google products including Pixel phones, tablets, watches, Fitbit trackers, Nest smart home products, and branded merchandise.
Customers in the area will have the option to purchase products online and pick them up in person at the store. In addition to product sales, the store will also offer on-site services such as Pixel repairs and troubleshooting.
The retail space, located on the first floor, features a wooden aesthetic that continues throughout the store. Upon entering, customers will be greeted by a display of Pixel Tablets along with sections dedicated to phones, wearables, accessories, and smart home products. Customers will have the opportunity to try out devices on display and learn more about the products through floating boxes.
The Google Store on Newbury Street joins existing locations in Chelsea (New York), Williamsburg (New York), and Mountain View (California), with the latter two being flagship locations. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
This store opening marks Google’s continued expansion in the retail market, with a new location opening each year since 2021. The address for the Google Store Newbury Street is 153 Newbury Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02116.
