Terry Clark Hughes Jr, a 39-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, made headlines on Monday after opening fire on law enforcement officers. The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of four officers, including members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and a CMPD officer.
Hughes was wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon and felony flee to elude out of Lincoln County, North Carolina. Shocking video footage of the shoot-out emerged, showing officers lying on the ground behind a car in a garage, with multiple gunshots heard.
